WHAT PEOPLE SAY

So, a little more about me....

I have a cat, Cookie, and I adore her. She is often the willing photography model I crave when I feel like getting my camera out.

I am passionate about photography and in my spare time I’m mostly out and about with a camera photographing anything and everything. Fortunately my partner is also a photographer so we can spend hours photographing bees around a bush or buildings in London without the fear of the other getting bored.

I'm a herbal tea person - green in the morning, peppermint after meals, lemon & ginger during the day and chamomile in the evenings. I store chocolate biscuits in the freezer and there's nothing better than a frozen chockie bickie with a herbal tea, any time of day!

On the fitness side, it has to be Zumba. This is definitely the best thing since sliced bread, and better for you.:)  You can dance "like no-one's watching, because no-one is! In my opinion, it's the most fun you can have in an hour.  I also enjoy yoga (the good old slow down yoga not the fast paced hot stuff that's so popular now).

As much of my work keeps me stuck behind my computer, I have taken up a little care work during the week, looking after a gorgeous 93 year old ex concert pianist. I love hearing about her life. She has some stories to tell! I've also volunteered at Oxfam for a year and a half which I enjoy very much.

I also enjoy visiting art galleries - my very favourite being the National Gallery and this absolutely must be followed by apple crumble and custard in St Martin-in-the-Fields Crypt cafe.  I love walking in beautiful places with special friends.  And, I've been learning to play the guitar on and off for some years.
